To address this challenge, the Income Tax Department has introduced the Digital PAN Card service, streamlining the application process. Now, individuals can obtain a digital PAN Card within just two hours by visiting their nearest retail store.

To make this service widely accessible, many PayNearby and retail outlets have been designated as PAN Service Agencies (PSAs). This includes a range of stores such as grocery shops, mobile recharge outlets, and travel agencies, where digital PAN Card applications can be efficiently processed.

Required Documents for a Digital PAN Card:

  • Aadhaar Card
  • Mobile number registered with Aadhaar
  • Voter ID
  • Utility bill
  • Driving license
  • Matriculation certificate

How to Apply for a Digital PAN Card:

  1. Visit a participating retail store and inform them whether you're applying for a new PAN Card or updating an existing one.

  4. Choose between eKYC or scan-based verification.
